Amethyst "Horse" Geode

Uniquely "horse head" shaped Amethyst geode. This Amethyst consists of lustrous, sparkling, good to great purple color with a few lighter areas and sharp moderate sized individual crystals. The lighter areas add contrast and highlight the many black inclusions with the crystals. This has a outstanding banding of white and blue-gray chalcedony layered rings on the edge that accentuates the shape and adds depth and additional contrast to the Amethyst. There appears to be one small restoration but that does not detract from the overall display of the piece.
